I co-created an interactive, educational storytelling platform for children from concept to deployment in a fast-paced, project-based environment. The application was designed to make reading an engaging, participatory experience, allowing children to create their own adventures and learn through narrative. My role involved designing the platform's core features, from the front-end user interface where children could build stories, to the back-end logic that managed story creation and user data. I focused on building a responsive, intuitive, and accessible experience suitable for young users, ensuring the app was both delightful to use and educationally impactful.

- Interactive Story Creation: The project's goal was to build a platform where children could be active creators, not just passive consumers. I designed and implemented the primary front-end interface (likely using React or a similar framework) that allowed children to select characters, settings, and plot points. This system would then dynamically assemble their choices into a unique, illustrated digital storybook, fostering creativity and decision-making skills.
- Educational Content & AI Integration: To provide rich educational content, the platform needed to generate dynamic and age-appropriate narratives. We integrated Google Cloud AI and ML APIs (like Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech) to enable features like voice narration, allowing children to have stories read to them or even record their own voice as the narrator. This AI-driven approach resulted in a personalized, accessible, and highly scalable storytelling engine that could create limitless unique adventures.

I focused on modernizing critical front-end applications and optimizing development infrastructure. My work involved implementing new user-facing features, enhancing application performance, and ensuring broad accessibility compliance. Additionally, I took a leadership role in significant platform-wide infrastructure projects, including migrating core package management systems to streamline our CI/CD pipelines and improve developer efficiency. This role required a blend of strong technical execution in front-end technologies, a deep understanding of accessibility standards, and high-level strategic planning for CI/CD workflows. I successfully balanced feature development with complex infrastructure challenges, coordinating extensively across multiple teams to ensure successful, on-time delivery of large-scale projects.
