He has earned its bachelor degree Costa Rica Institute of Technology. During its student years he proactively became part of the university experimental lab and work on important national institutes such as CeNAT. He also participate on two ocasions in competitive programming contest ICPC(International Collegiate Programming Contest) managing to advance into finals stages for Central America both times.
