Highlights

• Macmillan: Contributed to the development of internal tools that allow Macmillan editors to create course templates. Additionally, worked on the project Next Generation Assessments that manages assessments for the Achieve product. Utilized React and TypeScript throughout, improving code quality and ensuring seamless integration of new features into the existing ecosystem. Worked collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance the editor tools' functionality and optimize the assessment management workflows.
• CEMD: Developed a React web app that provides district leaders with contextualized data that helps them make decisions that generate equitable outcomes. During my time at CEMD, I improved code best practices and reduced bugs by promoting the appropriate use of Typescript throughout the application. I created efficient component and integration tests that prevented bugs across the app. Additionally, I used my exceptional communication and public speaking skills to deliver the best possible end-of-sprint demos for clients. Throughout my stay in this project, I was characterized by the speed with which I responded to change and by always seeking continuous improvement in my work.
• Surehand: I developed a mobile app that matches industrial blue-collar workers with best-fit tradespeople using React Native and MobX. The application has integration for push notifications and a messaging section.

• Promerica - Club Promerica: Club Promerica consists of a native Android application and a native iOS application that improve the retention and satisfaction of credit card users of Promerica Bank. Both applications show personalized promotions, allow to check credit card points, view affiliated merchants and make purchases online.

Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers 2018-02-12 — 2019-05-31

Highlights

• Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers - SMEC: Developed a native Android application in Java that automates the process of registering and maintaining field equipment. The app uses Google Maps API, offline mode and real-time updates. Decreased data analysis time by 75% by developing a responsive web application in .NET Core that shows graphs and creates exportable reports. Developed an API in .NET that transmits data from a SQL Server database.
