Driven by a lifelong fascination with technology, my journey began during school summer vacations many years ago, when I embarked on a self-taught coding adventure. This exploration quickly turned into a deep passion, as I discovered the exciting blend of challenges and triumphs that coding presented. It was not just about solving problems; it was about harnessing technology as a powerful tool to make meaningful improvements in human lives. This early enthusiasm for coding evolved into a dedicated pursuit of computer science, leading me to complete both undergraduate and graduate studies in the field. Eager to apply and expand my knowledge, I joined RbxGlobal, inspired by its commitment to improving education through technology. My time there offered me the opportunity to contribute to pioneering solutions in the EdTech space and deepened my understanding of the sector's unique challenges and opportunities. My entrepreneurial spirit was ignited when I co-founded Edify with a group of like-minded partners. Edify is a premier software development firm in Costa Rica specializing in the EdTech industry. At Edify, we place purpose and alignment to our values at the center of everything we do, ensuring our work generates impact by helping to improve education. Starting as a leader on critical projects, I eventually took on the role of CEO, guiding the company through substantial growth phases during my 7-year tenure. My current focus as an Edify partner has been on setting strategic direction, nurturing a culture rooted in our core values, and driving our mission forward with dedication, true to my belief that technology, when thoughtfully employed, can transform and enrich lives.
