I work as a software quality analyst with more than five years of experience. I have worked as freelancer and salaried using different tools for bug tracking, test cases management and test automation technologies. I have also worked certifying different projects as web systems and mobile applications, both natives and hybrids. In these projects I have done different tasks as requirements analysis, test plans creation, test cases execution, design reports and metrics.

Edify 2020-04-16 —

Senior QA Analyst

At Edify I have worked in QA leadership positions. The main tasks I am in charge of include testing project management, creating and executing test plans, planning and assigning tasks, creating and analyzing metrics, administration and certification for releases to production, and continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation. I have also participated in manual test executions, API tests, and performance tests using tools such as Postman and Jmeter.

Highlights

  • Littera [Senior QA Analys/QA Lead]: Littera Education is the first software platform (website) designed to help K-12 schools and districts to design, deliver, and monitor their tutoring programs. Littera enables K-12 school districts to provide high-quality one-to-one and small-group online tutoring for every student who needs it. Deliver programs designed to strengthen the instructional approaches, not to compete with them. Littera works with the existing instructional tools, learning management system, assessment data, and curriculum. In this project I started as a QA analyst completing tasks such as writing and executing test cases. During the MVP period, the tests were mostly API and as the project was taking shape the tests were more complete including UI and BE. The project had exponential growth, including the QA team, since we went from 2 resources to 10 in a few months. Given all these changes, I had to take the leader’s role and organize the QA team according to the project’s needs. Therefore, I started working on QA strategies, making estimates, and assigning tasks to the team members. Moreover I worked on improving the release certification process including automated API test collections, E2E testing, and load testing.
  • NROC Project [Senior QA Analys]: EdReady is an adaptive Math and English learning platform that personalizes a student’s path to subject mastery. Every student has goals, and every learner is some distance from those goals. EdReady meets students where they are and helps them address knowledge gaps that could otherwise limit their access to future academic and workforce opportunities. In this project my main tasks were requirements analysis, execution of manual tests (functional and UI), API tests, performance tests using Jmeter, data validation, bugs reporting and tracking, analysis and reporting of results.
